Hosui's are consistently rated the best-tasting asian pear. They are large, sweet, flavorful, refreshing, crisp like an apple with a brownish-orange russetted skin. Hosui's ripen early through late August and stores through November. They are pollinated by Shinko or 20th Century.

Shinko (450)*

Shinko's are medium to large with a brownish-green skin. They have an excellent, rich and sweet flavor. Shinko's ripen mid-August through mid-September.

Shinseiki,s are juicy, sweet, refreshing and crisp like an apple. They are easy to grow and keep very well. They are vigorous and heavy bearing (usually by the 2nd year). Shinseiki’s ripen late July through mid-August and store extremely well until March.
