Fuyu (200)* |
Also known as the apple persimmon, Fuyu's are medium sized with a flat shape and still hard when ripe. They are easy to grow in cool or hot climates. Fuyu's are practically pest free. They are self-fertile and ripen in November. |

Giant Fuyu's share the same characteristics as the Fuyu except they are larger. |

Hachiya (200)* |
Hachiya's are large, deep orange-red and have an acorn shape. Hot summers are required to mature the fruit. Hachiya's are sweet, flavorful, and astringent until soft ripe. Mature fruit can be frozen and thawed to ripen. Hachiya's are self-fertile and ripen in November.
